Blue Skies Behind is an immersive painting exhibition that explores the complex interplay between climate change and our perceptions of reality. The work aims to mirror the impact of environmental shifts on our physical spaces while examining how these experiences are further mediated by our digital devices. In an era where the boundaries between fantasy and reality blur, we find ourselves both witnessing and engaging with these events - sometimes in person, often through the screens of our phones.

Tim Stone graduated from Wichita State University in 2012 with a BFA in Painting and an MFA in Painting in 2022. Stone is currently an adjunct lecturer at Wichita State University in Wichita, KS as well as instructing at the Lawrence Arts Center. His work can be seen in Wichita at Emprise Bank, Cargill, Koch Industries, Hutton Construction, and Woolsey Hall- WSU Barton School of Business, and online at timstone.studio.
