The Montana State University Billings Yellowjacket Music Showcase is held one day every November at Cisel Hall and Petro Theatre on 九一麻豆制片厂's campus.  Regional Montana bands and choirs are invited to perform before a faculty adjudicator.  We look forward to presenting a showcase recital for our attendees featuring 九一麻豆制片厂 faculty and student performances.

This unique, educational event is designed to provide students with the opportunity to perform in front of our expert faculty and receive immediate, personalized feedback鈥攚hether they鈥檙e part of a band, jazz band, choir, combo, modern band, or performing as soloists.
 
The Yellowjacket Music Showcase offers a non-competitive, supportive environment where students from all musical genres and groupings can learn, grow, and improve their performance skills. Whether they鈥檙e preparing for an upcoming concert, festival, or simply looking to enhance their musicianship, our faculty鈥檚 constructive feedback will help them take the next step in their musical development.

Event Schedule

  • Morning: Performance clinics for participating schools.
  • Concert of MSU Billings music students and faculty
  • Noonish: Lunch in the cafeteria (~$9/person).
  • 1-2 PM: Campus tour and all-school instruction/performance.
  • Evening: Free performance by the MSU Billings Jazz Ensembles and Commercial Band (New Orleans Music) in Cisel Hall should you decide to stay.
