Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are essential members of the healthcare team. They provide basic patient care and assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, eating, and mobility. CNAs work closely with nurses and other professionals in hospitals, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, community care facilities, and as home health aides. Because of the personal nature of the job, CNAs should be compassionate, reliable, and enjoy helping others.
