We are very excited for you to start your academic career at Montana State University Billings! Below are your next steps to register for fall classes.

Follow these steps to get your class schedule!

Step 1: Submit transcripts, immunization records and any advanced placement exams

Official Transcripts
Send in your official high school and any previous college transcripts 鈥攖hese are your ticket to meeting with an academic advisor and registering for Fall classes. For more information about submitting transcripts, visit New Student Transcripts FAQ.
Please send all official transcripts to the Office of Admissions. Official transcripts may be sent through parchment (electronically) or delivered to our office in a sealed envelope, or emailed directly from your highschool counselor/staff to admissions@msubillings.edu.

Immunization Records:
Immunization records are often included on your high school transcripts. To see the requirements for MMR and Rubella, or to submit an exemption form, visit Immunization Requirements

Step 2: Complete your reading & writing and/or math placement (if required)

First-time freshmen with a 2.9 GPA or lower, GED/HiSET graduates, and homeschooled students who have not already completed math or writing coursework at 九一麻豆制片厂 should complete their required placement before scheduling an advising appointment.

Placement instructions have been sent to your preferred email address. Need us to resend them? No problem! Contact the Admissions Office, and we'll make sure they're back at the top of your inbox.

Step 3: Make your Advising appointment to register for Fall 2026

You're almost there! Once we've received your transcripts and any required placement results, it's time to call the advising office for your campus to schedule your advising appointment and register for classes.

Step 4: Complete your FREE application for Federal Aid!

Contact the Financial Aid Office for one-to-one support on completing your application. Over 92% of 九一麻豆制片厂 first-time students who are full-time receive free grants and/or scholarships!

Living on Campus? Let鈥檚 Get You Settled!
Yellowjackets planning to live on campus鈥攄on鈥檛 forget to secure your space! Single rooms, shared rooms, and family housing options are available through our Housing & Residential Life website.

Commuting to 九一麻豆制片厂 University or City College?
If you plan to live off campus in the local community, be sure to submit your housing waiver form.

Note: First-year students over the age of 21 and transfer students are not required to complete a housing exemption form.
